How It Works:
Doors open at 6:30PM
In-person sign-ups: 6:30PM – 7:00PM – Drop your name in the lottery; we’ll draw 10 performers (or 12 if time permits.)
Showtime: 7:00PM – 9:30/10:00PM – The night kicks off with a short set from Thomas before performances begin. Each artist gets two songs or 10 minutes—whichever comes first.
Extra Slots? If time allows, we’ll pull more names at 9PM to keep the music going.
Performer Notes:
This open mic is geared toward singer-songwriters to keep transitions between sets short and smooth.
Bands may have a chance to apply for a featured artist slot in the future… stay tuned!

About Your Host:
Thomas Charles Clukey is a singer-songwriter from Saco, Maine, whose music is deeply rooted in the landscapes and stories of New England. Growing up in the small town of St. Albans, Thomas was immersed in music from an early age—whether it was listening to Q106.5 Country Music and Country Gold Saturday Night with his dad, or performing in his school band.
With a sound that blends Country, Roots, and Americana, Thomas crafts songs that feel like heart-to-heart conversations. His influences range from modern icons like Chris Stapleton and Tyler Childers to timeless storytellers like John Denver. His lyrics reflect the grit and grace of everyday life, often exploring how music serves as therapy—a way to process life’s challenges while honoring his Maine roots.

NotesMaine Blues Society presents the 2026/2027 Road to Memphis - International Blues Challenge.
Calling all Maine Blues Bands and Duos!
Do you have what it takes to compete against musicians from around the world? Prove it!
The Maine Blues Society will endorse (1) Band and (1) Duo or Acoustic Solo Artist to attend the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN to compete in the International Blues Challenge Hosted by The Blues Foundation.
Winning Band and Winning Duo Band will each receive donations toward traveling to Memphis for the IBC Challenge in January 2027.
Bands must perform (3) original blues songs. A board of competition judges will be assembled by MBS Board Members and previous winners of the Maine Road to Memphis Competition who have participated in the R2M-IBC.
All bands must preregister for a 30 Min Spot by messaging the MBS here at our FB page. All bands must be registered by 11 am on October 10, 2026 for the local event and Winners must be registered with The Blues Foundation as participants within two weeks.
Please provide Band Name, and Members Names, along with reliable contact information (phone/email) for the band.

To honor Pine Tree Society’s 90th anniversary, we knew we had to bring in a band that represents the “90s” perfectly. Hello Newman is taking us back to the era of alternative rock, grunge and pop-punk so grab your flannel, call your friends and come party for a great cause!
They are taking the stage as headliner of the first-ever Pine Tree Palooza Live Music Festival. Admission is free and donations are appreciated. All proceeds support Pine Tree Society’s programs for Maine people with disabilities. This day-long festival features great food, local brews, chairlift rides, a kid zone, adaptive bike demos and more!
